Hello Again Everyone, As the final installment of our MTSTP Blog series commemorating the 17 years of vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by the Chinese communist regime, here is another new song entitled “I Will Sing For You” featuring Rise-Ascend & Indira. Indira, who is based in Mexico City, is another one of our good friends. She has a beautiful voice and we sincerely appreciate Indira and her brother’s efforts to contribute to this song. “I Will Sing For You” is inspired by and based on the true story of Sara Effner’s 2002 journey from her hometown in Missouri to Tiananmen Square in China in order to tell the Chinese people that Falun Dafa is good in the wake of an extremely severe persecution that had been initiated in 1999. Sara (in her twenties at the time), along with other Falun Gong practitioners from Western countries, was arrested by the Chinese police for sharing their peaceful message. While being held in the police vehicle, in an effort to share her sincere message of compassion with the police officers, Sara began singing, in Chinese, a song entitled “Be Saved” to the officers. Her heart-felt song moved one young police officer to tears. You can read more about Sara Effner’s story here: A Young Western Practitioner Travels to China with a Heartfelt Message for the Chinese People: http://en.minghui.org/html/articles/2005/8/21/64117.html Hop you enjoy.
