Hello Everyone,
I’m happy to continue our new Corner series with a guest blog post from Kate Heart. Yesterday, I introduced our MTSTP Blog friends to Kate Heart via a brand new collaboration song entitled “Forgiveness.” I have to say, Kate and I are really encouraged and grateful for the tremendous response the song has received thus far. Here, Kate discusses her EP and what inspires her music. Rise “It’s a true privilege to create and share my heart made music with the world! It is all made with the aim to inspire divine thoughts and the kindest of hearts. I released my debut self-titled EP in October 2015, a catchy collection of original music set amongst a soundtrack of uplifting pop with shimmers of folk, and a whole heap of soul. All of my songs are infused with the spirit of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance for all humanity. My motivation to release music with positive and uplifting themes is my practice of Falun Gong, an ancient Chinese cultivation practice that aims to improve the nature of one’s heart and mind. The song ‘Stand Up’ is written to shed light on the horrific persecution Falun Gong practitioners have suffered under the hands of the Chinese communist party for the past 13years. I hope you find moments of uplifting goodness and soul smiling happiness in the music that gave me so much joy and of course a touch of heartache to make.” Kate Heart www.kateheart.com @Kateheartsings

Hello Everyone, Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with an amazing artist by the name of Kate Heart. Kate’s music is powerful, meaningful and soulful. The creative process of working with Kate was really smooth, natural and I sincerely hope that I am fortunate enough to be able to bring you more musical collaborations with her. Here is a song we just finished entitled: “Forgiveness.” I hope the song effectively captures a few real-life instances of profound forgiveness that I have observed around the world, and that have touched me in a special way. Also, please take some time to check out Kate Heart’s latest self-entitled EP. Show her some love with the shares and comments. https://soundcloud.com/kateheartsings Hello Everyone, I hope all is well. I would like to share a fresh, new song with you entitled “Tragedy of the Toad.” This song is meant to continue our effort to raise awareness about the terrible crime of organ harvesting that is ongoing in China. The “toad” reference in the title is a metaphor for the lack of human decency exhibited by the former Chinese communist party dictator, Jiang Zemin in his direct culpability in initiating the vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China back in 1999. Rise HAPPY YEAR OF THE MONKEY EVERYONE!! MTSTP wishes you all great wisdom in the Chinese New Year! Here is a brand new MTSTP song entitled “Braving The Elements” featuring Rise-Ascend, Icomm and Bill. Hope you enjoy and have a great day! Rise

Composer’s Corner Vol.1 – Stathis Vergis Hello Everyone, We are really excited about bringing you a cool, new feature on the MTSTP Blog. In addition to our usual MTSTP Blog Songs, Aton’s Taking The Music To The People Photo Blog, and our other content, we will now begin a special segment entitled “Composer’s Corner,” where we will feature the beautiful, original instrumental compositions primarily of MTSTP producers Direction and Stathis Vergis, but also some of our other talented music friends. The Inaugural composition is from Stathis entitled “October 22nd”. Here is what Stathis had to say about the track. Rise “After spending the summer in New York City, I returned to my hometown in Greece. Deep inside of me I knew that I was going to produce music. All the things that I saw and experienced were very inspiring to me. During my time in New York, I met and lived with several practitioners of Falun Dafa and together we worked to help expose the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners that is still happening in China. The persecution in China is directed by the government and viciously attacks people who try to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. While in New York, I frequently listened to authentic, traditional Chinese music recordings from the Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra concert on my mp3 player – it was like a gift, a tremendous magical experience. I also had acquired a silver flute and a violin during my visit in the US. When I returned to Greece, I continued practicing my music skills discovering and understanding music structures, rhythmic and harmonic ways and more. A lot of trips in nature and walks by the sea or in the woods! And then my wish finally arose: to share with all of you these feelings I had deep inside and externalize my goodness for the people and life. It was a process with ups and downs. I started arranging this song on the 22nd of October 2015 (that’s the reason for the title!) and finished it on the 3rd of February 2016! I worked on Ableton 9 on my PC! If in this world someone can be influenced from bad and good things, I would prefer to share something positive. Enjoy the track! See you soon with more music!” Stathis |
