Direction: Back To My Roots!

Hey guys,

I’m happy to be back bringing you new fresh music. Actually, I’ve kind of taken at step back to the basics (and by that, hopefully 2 steps forward).

After my computer broke, I wasn’t able to produce much for a while, but in the meantime, I took up playing my guitar again. Before, I always felt I didn’t find the right balance between me playing the guitar and my other sound samples, but from playing my old flamenco songs again (I played a lot of flamenco  in Spain a few years back), I feel I have a lot of cool stuff to experiment with now!

There are no limits when it comes to musically expressing what’s inside of you, right? The more you can let go of the ego and all the wishes of becoming great and an amazing musician when you play, the more the music will reflect what’s really inside of you. I think that will always be something true and unique.

I’m really looking forward to bringing you all plenty of new music before the year ends and in the year to come!!

As far as my process and the inspiration of the song “The Truth,” it came from thinking back when I was younger and life felt so mysterious and exciting. I recall the feeling of wanting to travel around the world, get life experience and find the true meaning of life. What I’ve realized though is that the truth is ultimately inside you and by finding the right path you can cultivate yourself to higher insights understand.

As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I know I’ve found the true and right path. The rest is less talking and more doing ;).

In terms of recording the music for the track, I used my new iPhone 6, and hopefully without sounding like a commercial for Apple, well, the iPhone rocks!!;)

So, ultimately what I want to say is, having and using less has resulted in more positive results in terms of my music creation.

Further, I have found a deeper insight into the universal principle of "no loss no gain" – Zhuan falun.
