The persecution has been going on for 24 years now, and, due to the brutal and evil nature of it, it will certainly be considered the persecution of the century. July 20, 2023 marks 24 years of the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal religious persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) practitioners in China. Since July 20, 1999, the CCP has harassed, arrested, tortured, and murdered a shocking number of Falun Dafa practitioners in China. As I reflect on this grim milestone, I share with you the latest MTSTPBlog song titled “24 Years.” Here is some background information about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China: “The practice of Falun Dafa has not always been under persecution in China. After Falun Dafa was introduced to the public in 1992, the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, along with Dafa’s mental and physical benefits, were well received by the general public in China and elsewhere. As the number of practitioners exceeded CCP members, however, former CCP leader Jiang Zemin launched a systematic, nationwide suppression.
