"Hallway Reflections" by Rise-Ascend #MTSTPBlog

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday – just taking it easy or off on an exciting adventure.

Here is a brand new #MTSTPBlog song entitled “Hallway Reflections.”

“Hallway Reflections” is a song that evokes the feeling of grandeur and nostalgia that you get when you visit, or return to, one of those grand buildings, structures or historical sites somewhere.

For me, years ago, I had the opportunity to attend two schools that are home to some pretty grand and historical structures – well, from the perspective of the United States. Of course, it would be hard to compare to the structures in places like Athens, Florence or Paris.

However, I was fortunate enough to see, in person, many of the breath-taking structures in Egypt and Aswan, Nubia. Those remarkable experiences and memories remain with me today.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the new song!

Kind Regards,
Rise

They make you think you can’t fly…”

Can’t see where the valley ends…”

"Rolling Hills Under Misty Skies" by Rise-Ascend #MTSTPBlog

Hello Again Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying a very productive and great week!

Today, I’m releasing a brand new #MTSTPBlog Song entitled “Rolling Hills Under Misty Skies.”

I have always really liked the high-energy sound of Celtic folk melodies over 6/8 rhythms, so I thought it would be kind of cool to do a short blog song inspired by that Celtic sound.

Besides, St. Patrick’s Day is next week!

I hope you all enjoy.

Kind regards,
Rise

"Solemn & Dignified" by Rise-Ascend #MTSTPBlog

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Tonight, I’m releasing the latest #MTSTPBlog Song entitled “Solemn & Dignified.”

“Solemn & Dignified” is based on the true story of a 72-year-old women who lives in the countryside in China.

She is a Falun Dafa practitioner and every day she risks her life by going out to the markets in her area in an effort to tell people the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese communist party (ccp).

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) is a spiritual practice based on the principals of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and has five slow, meditative exercises.

The practice has been brutally persecuted in China since July 20, 1999.

“You help them see the truth,
Unafraid of what may happen to you…” – “Solemn & Dignified” by Rise-Ascend

I hope you enjoy.

Kind regards,
Rise
