Co-producer Lil Direction Hey guys. Good to be back with the new Ep "Lift Them Up". During the last 6 months I've been building up my home-studio and studying the art of mixing. We've decided to mix our own music in order to bring more new fresh tunes to you guys on a more frequent basis. I especially enjoyed mixing “Carry The Load” which is the 2nd track on the Ep. It's an honest mix with the vocals quite up-front without to much effects added except for Eq's, Compression etc. There's about 40 vocal tracks and something like 20 instrument tracks in this mix. It's a great song and Rise Ascend did a fantastic job on the vocals/lyrics so check that out. Furthermore, I'm also glad to have Mimmi, my wife on the project now. She's been helping me behind the scenes for quite some time with her natural gift for melodies and rhythm and her contribution adds much dynamics to our music, with much more to come in the near future. She's a great singer & songwriter and inspiring to work with, you'll soon hear more of her. Later guys! Pro Tools session for Carry The Load!
